Because of the great importance in research and conservation, I am interested in the management and development of natural history collections. As the caretaker of the ornithology section of a natural history collection, I have been working preparing bird skins, skeletons, eggs and tissues samples. Currently, I have prepared more than 850 specimens for investigation and taxidermy, deposited in several museums in Costa Rica and U.S.A.
TAXIDERMY MOUNTS Some preparations for a permanent exhibition and models for field experiments
SKELETONS Skeletons mainly for a research collection and some models for exhibition
SKINS I have prepared bird skins for several collections, mainly deposited in the Zoology Museum, Universidad de Costa Rica
